Setup
Create your project directory after downloading and installing the installation
package.
OCM Stand-alone Version
Create your
ocmon/projects/mysample
project directory. Creating this project directory ensures that your
projects are not be overwritten when the OCM software is upgraded.
In the
ocmon/projects directory, create a
directory named mysample.
Copy the contents of the sample
folder, located in the
ocmon/projects
directory, to the mysample
folder.
This documentation assumes you created the
ocmon/projects/mysample
project directory. All examples (of
configurations, property settings, command execution and so forth) refer to the
ocmon/projects/mysample
project directory.
OCM Solution Package Version
The project
directory for the OCM Solution Package version is
rtvapm_projects/emsample/servers/ocm.
This is the project directory
you created as described the RTView EM instructions.
Note that examples in this documentation (of configurations, property settings, command execution and so forth) use the project directory for the OCM Stand-alone version.
Proceed to Configuring a Data Connection.
