Data Acquisition Method
This section describes the data acquisition methods for the OC Monitor. Choose a data acquisition method,
then gather the Information You
Need for configuring the OC Monitor.
There are two methods for acquiring JMX data from a Coherence cluster:
- JMX Remote Port or RMI URL: This method is suitable for clusters supporting up to 150 nodes and 10 caches. For configuration information, see Configuring a JMX Connection.
- Direct Connection (as a Coherence Management Node): This method is best for clusters supporting a larger number of nodes and caches. For configuration information, see Configuring a Direct Connection.
