Troubleshooting

Served Data and Direct Data Connection Deployments
 
Problem
Console Error:
ERROR: cannot open <rtv_filename.rtv>.
Solution
The specified rtv file is not in the directory containing the HTML file.



 
Problem
Console Error:
load: class com.sl.gmsjrtview.GmsJRtView.class not found
Solution
The gmsjrtview.jar is not specified in the ARCHIVE parameter or it is not in the directory containing the HTML file. If you specified a relative path for gmsjrtview.jar in the ARCHIVE parameter, it was not found.


Direct Data Connection Deployments
Errors/solutions vary depending on which Enterprise RTView data sources are included in your applet. Refer to Deployment in the Data Sources section of this documentation for troubleshooting specific to your data source.
